CSI solves three pressing literacy needs in today's classrooms:

  1. The need to engage 21st-century learners
  2. The need to improve comprehension, vocabulary, oral language, and fluency
  3. The need to utilize modern technology in the classroom

CSI meets these needs through the provision of short, engaging content-area texts and explicit instructional materials to support literacy learning at each year level, in both hardcopy format and digital format for interactive or standard whiteboards with LCD projectors. Early results show that CSI is making a difference!
