CSI TECHNOLOGY

How CSI's interactive component is helping students around the world.

While developing a program that offers cutting-edge technology-based resources for teachers, the CSI development team has always been aware that every classroom is different, and teachers should be able to choose to what level they utilize technology in their lessons, depending on technology limitations, preference of the teacher, and other factors.

For this reason, CSI is provided first and foremost as a robust hardcopy resource, but one that contains a digital element for those teachers able to utilize the technology component.

Each level of CSI comes with 45 hardcopy teaching folders (with theory, lesson plans, glossaries and teaching objectives) and 50+ overhead transparency texts for whole group teaching.

Those same 50+ texts are also provided on CD-ROM for projection through an LCD projector onto an interactive or standard whiteboard.

It is important to note that in a class with an LCD projector but no interactive whiteboard, all of the interactivity of the digital texts can still be used on a standard whiteboard, screen or even a classroom wall, by controlling the tools with the mouse, from the computer.

The CD-ROMs run directly from the CD-ROM drive and will not install automatically on the hard drive.
